Ultra X England 2024

Ultra X England takes place in the Peak District, the UK’s first National Park. Located at the southern edge of the Pennines, the Peak District National Park is an upland area characterised by vast green landscapes, rounded hills, plateaus, valleys, limestone gorges and gritstone escarpments.

There are three races races: Ultra X 110 England, Ultra X 50 England and Ultra X 25 England. The 110 event is a two-stage race taking place on Saturday and Sunday, whilst the 50 event is a single-stage race taking place on the Sunday, following the same route but starting 2 hours later. The 25km has the same start and finish as the other events but offers something for those not yet ready for the ultra distance.

There are checkpoints stationed approximately 10km apart where competitors can access water, snacks, shelter, and if necessary, medical support.

Competitors will be able to camp at Race HQ at Newfold Farm in Edale on Friday and Saturday nights, where they will have access to therapist treatment, medical care and hot water. If competitors would like to camp on Sunday night after the race they are welcome to do so.

The event is held under UK Athletics rules.
