Ultra X Morocco 2024

Ultra X Morocco is an event that takes place around the city of Ouarzazate (Pronounced - Wuh-zuh-zet) in Morocco in November each year. It offers two races: Ultra X 110 Morocco and Ultra X 50 Morocco. The 110 event is a two-stage race taking place on Saturday and Sunday, whilst the 50 event is a single-stage race taking place on the Sunday.

Nicknamed the door of desert, Ouarzazate is positioned in south-central Morocco, south of the High Atlas Mountains. This course will take you on a sensory journey, past Kasbahs, through traditional fortified villages, lush oasises and over rocky desert whilst being supported by the wonderful local population. During this unforgettable weekend, competitors will experience the place, the people, and the beauty of this iconic country in full.

There are two stages, Saturday and Sunday. The first stage is 60km and will commence at 07:30. The second stage is 50km and will commence at 07:30 too. There are checkpoints stationed approximately 12km apart where competitors can access water, shade/shelter, and, if necessary, medical support.

110km competitors will sleep at their accommodation in Ouarzazate on the Friday before and the Sunday after the race (we advise the race hotel – which can be booked when you register for the race). On Saturday night, 110km competitors will camp near Tazentout, where they can enjoy medical care, and hot water with which to rehydrate their dehydrated meals. 50km runners will stay at their accommodation in Ouarzazate on Saturday and Sunday night.

Transfers

  • You may exchange your entry for a Credit at a cost of £200.00 until 19/10/2024.
  • You may exchange your entry for a Credit at a cost of £25.00 until 19/10/2024.
  • You will have 12 months (from the date of the event) to spend your credit. You may also use your credit to enter someone else.

Instalment Plan

  • You may pay in equal instalments up to a either a maximum set by the organizer or monthly up to one month before the event, whichever is less.
  • There is an additional fee of 1% + £0.50 (inc VAT) for each instalment.
  • You are responsible for ensuring payments are made, missing payments may mean removal from the event and loss of any monies paid to date.
